Our Experience at Room for Tea
Another day, another thing to explore in New York City! Art installations have been popping up everywhere, so me and Sabine finally made the time to visit one. If you aren’t familiar with these pop-ups, they’re themed installations that are cool, enjoyable, and great to take photos in. I’ve seen cool interesting ones that are based on ice cream, eggs (yes, eggs!), and more.
About two weeks ago we went to Room for Tea, an immersive tea-themed art pop-up! It’s all about celebrating New York’s diverse tea culture and we had such a great time. There was so much to see, feel, touch, and smell.
Visitors get to experience everything from a box you can make a cool optical illusion out of and beautiful cherry blossom room. Simply amazing!
All in all, we had a great experience and we’re so glad we finally had out first art installation experience. How cute is the “Teagether Forever” sign below?! Haha 😝 We’re making more of an effort to explore around the city and this was the perfect place to start. Have you been to an art pop-up before? Let us know in the comments!
