Questions to Prepare for Your Next Job Interview

Questions to Prepare for Your Next Job Interview | Career Tips | Interview Questions

Job interviews can be so nerve wrecking no matter what stage you’re at. If you’re graduating from college soon, the search for your first “adult” job can be long and difficult. (I remember applying to over 100 jobs!) I always found it helpful to practice my responses to questions I felt could be asked, so I’ve compiled a list of the ones that are frequently asked during interviews.

Have you been asked other questions that could be helpful for this list? Do you have other tactics to prepare? Let us know in the comments!

  1. Walk me through your resume.

  2. What made you apply for a job at (company name)?

  3. What are some of your strengths/ weaknesses?

  4. What are you expecting in terms of salary?

  5. Describe a moment in your career where you had to overcome challenges.

  6. Do you have experience leading a team?

  7. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

  8. Why are your leaving your current job?

  9. Do you have any questions?
